Following what is sure to be an episode of unparalleled frivolity aboard the Alternate Graduation Boat Party, SEMSU is thrilled to announce that the after party will be taking place at Junk later that evening. We’ve put together a pretty tasty line-up of internationally acclaimed DJs to provide the soundtrack for the biggest party in the student calendar.
SHANTI CELESTE will be returning to the club after her masterful set back in January on the recommendation of none other than Annie Mac. Shanti’s name is one that has not escaped the attention of many label heads. Her refined taste and superb songwriting skills have earned her a reputation most DJs would be enviable of, with releases on Future Times, Secretsundaze, as well as a collaboration with Funkineven on Apron Records.

Also taking to the decks will be Canadian duo PENDER STREET STEPPERS; comprising Liam Butler and Jack Jutson (known to many as Jack J) and representing Mood Hut records, these guys have been making serious waves across the party scene globally. A stellar output of irresistible productions and eclectic mixes from the duo and from Jack J as a solo artist mean that this is one of the hottest acts around, and certainly not one you can afford to miss.

Both artists, renowned amongst the music community, have played at major festivals in the UK and beyond (Shanti Celeste played recently at Bloc and PSS at Dekmantel) and so we are extremely excited to have them for what will undeniably be one of the grooviest nights Junk has seen in recent years.
TICKETS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE BOAT PARTY WRISTBAND but if you didn’t manage to bag one, there’s still a handful of after-party only tickets available from Fatsoma.

Needless to say, this event is for ANYONE and EVERYONE, not just students/graduates. See you on the d-floor!
